If you've ever had to fill out a managed care credentialing application, you know just how time-consuming and tedious it is. How many of those applications will a physician be asked to fill out in the course of a year? In many parts of the country, it could easily be as many as twenty or more.   Each company has its own format, even though, ultimately, each one is actually asking for the same information.

Garnet takes that repetitive and tedious task off your hands. With our Crednet database, we need only ask you for your credentialing information once. Once it has been approved by you and stored in our database, we will respond to as many requests as you like, and you never have to complete an application again. Every request will be completed with the data you provide and submitted on an application approved by the requestor. We guarantee the prompt completion of your application. How do you keep the data current?

We make sure our records are accurate by sending you an annual report which lists the current information we have for you in our database. All you need to do is review our Garnet report for accuracy, indicate any changes, sign it, and return it to us. Simple!

What about changes in information that happen between updates?

The expiration dates of your date sensitive information (license, D.E.A. certificate, etc.) are stored in our Crednet database, so we know when these "off-cycle" events occur. While many of our customers simply forward us the latest information as soon as they have it, we run regular reports so that we know when these events are coming, and will make sure that we request an update on any expiring information from you.

Do you complete applications for all HMOs?

YES. We have most major HMO applications in our files, and many of the smaller ones. This means we can produce a typed and accurate application on the proper requestor's form straight from our Crednet database. We are always adding more application formats to the database, and will handle requests for any HMO that you require.   Just send us a blank copy of any  application we don't have and we'll add it to our database.  

So how does the process work?

Very well. Once you have signed on with Garnet, we will collect your data and enter it into our database. Once we believe our information is complete, we will send you our Provider Database Form. Peruse it, verify it, sign it. Once we know you're satisfied that we have it right, we can use that data to complete as many requests as you need.

What about Medicare, Medicaid, and hospital credentialing?

YES. If you receive any request that relates to the information we collect, we can handle completing the forms. In fact, we handle quite a number of Medicare and Medicaid applications for our customers already. As for hospitals...some of our customers are hospitals, who purchase our services for their medical staff.
